SCALES OF DILEMMA

When the heart smolders on the lips
as the words light flames of silence
and you walk away slowly like a dying breeze
while your coldness livens coldness to freeze
it is the instance I realize it was true love
when peace has flown away like a dove
as eyes become a fountain of an emotional river
while the souls swirls with hope shining like silver
and I am touched to believe you believed

I lose the title as the story begins
again I am consumed by the dreams of blissful moments
who will tell my side of story?
if it is too worthless to be a side of a coin
so I take comfort with me
as I reward you with sweet dreams
on the floor of this love I take a walk
out of its castle I am banished
to take my sadness to the sea
where I shall my heart's blindness to see

As curtains fall with time
in fire wax of happiness which was my rhyme
my love is yours even if it was a crime
I wish you like bells when they chime
let it be Christmas to make you merry
to be a saviour for my love to ferry
safely through gales of life when they thrive
I will always be hopeful when I arrive
on this spot to pray I was not naive

This heartfelt goodbye which feels like torment
it will be a tattoo on time than any moment
from this moment on the future beckons
no matter the distance the compass shall live
go in peace to get a life's piece
if you return the scent of promises will always linger
as balances on scales of dilemma
